Heartfelt apology for the total radio silence, last year suddenly kicked into overdrive and a new definition was made for what “busy” entails!
The short version of missed events that I would have written about:
- Day 1 of the Welsh I went 2-2 across the 4 games, but then had to drop because of health (still didn’t finish last on the table!).
- Shatterpoint came out, and dominated my summer 🙂
- Played a small Shatterpoint LGS tourney and came first!
- Played a slightly larger Shatterpoint tourney at a different LGS and got smashed… But still won best painted, which shocks me to this day!
- Started playing Warmachine MK4 at my LGS and pushing it gently…
- …Which has gone so well that as well as Skirmish Fridays, we also have Warmachine Saturdays!
- Played a small Mangled Metal Warmachine event at the LGS and came second 😁
- Fully painted my Winter Korp army
- Picked up Orgoth Sea Raiders as a second army (with the game picking up speed, having two MK4 armies to run demos with seemed like a good idea)
- Purchased tickets for the Welsh 2024!! Let’s try this again…
I may end up posting about some of those things in retrospect, and certainly the painted models will receive some love and attention 🙂
